Buying and reserving

Do I pay online?

No. Reserving holds the card under your name — you pay at the counter when you pick
it up. Nothing is charged to a card on this site.

How long will you hold a reserved card?

Three days, unless you call and ask us to hold it longer. After that it goes
back in the case.

The site says one copy is available. Is that real?

Yes. Each listing is a single physical card. When it's gone the listing disappears
rather than going to "out of stock", because there was only ever one.

Can you ship it to me?

Not through this site — pickup only for now. Call us and we'll talk about it.

Condition and grading

Who grades the raw cards?

We do, by hand, under a lamp, one card at a time. Our grades are conservative on
purpose — we would rather you be pleasantly surprised at the counter.

What do the condition codes mean?

The short version:

NMNear Mint — pack fresh or close to it
LPLightly Played — minor edge or surface wear
MPModerately Played — clear wear, no damage to the card
HPHeavily Played — creasing, whitening, still playable
DMGDamaged — water, tears, or a hard crease

What about the slabs?

Graded cards keep their grader's number — PSA, BGS or CGC. We price those
individually, so the number on the slab is the number you're paying for.

Selling to us

Do you buy collections?

Yes, every day we're open. Bring the whole box — sorted or not.

How do you pay?

Zelle, Cash App or store credit. Store credit is worth more, and there's no limit
on what you can spend it on.

Bringing something big? Call ahead at (702) 451-7000 so we can set aside the counter
space and the time to do it properly.
